LESLIE
Wow, this is it. Time for the SATS. Thanks for helping me study, Mom.

MOM
No problem, hon, you’re gonna do great!

LESLIE
(convincing herself)
Thanks. It’s not that big of a deal. Just, the one test my entire future depends on. Well, here I go…

She opens the door.

MOM
Oh, honey, can you hold on for a sec?

She closes the car door.

LESLIE
Sure, Mom, what’s up?

MOM
You know, hearing you say that just now, about your future? It just reminded me that, you’re almost an adult and, there’s something I’ve been keeping from you your entire life that I need to confess to you right now.

LESLIE
Okay.. well is it bad? Because I don’t wanna be distracted during the test-

MOM
I DROPPED YOU ON YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU WERE A BABY!

LESLIE
Um, that’s ok Mom, I think that’s pretty common actually.
